Introduction

Digital Literacy Class: We are going to learn about so many incredible ways to be creative, collaborative, and to communicate. We will focus on computer skills and applications. Some topics you already know about, and you will know better, and other topics and applications will be new to you! Either way, we will work together to find the ones you are able to use best. This class consists of Project-Based-Learning. You will be given plenty of time to learn the skills and applications that you will use for a lifetime. You must also have your Weebly.com website up to date. If you have just joined us, and you are unsure of what to do, please ask one of your classmates. They should be able to show you what I am looking for and get you on the right track. Additionally, make sure you use the search box in the upper left corner of this page to find the Learning Style Survey and Left/Right Brain Survey. Take them and send me one email with the results from both. Good Luck!

DREXEL/LASALLE/PENN/VILLANOVA: You must insert the pictures from your research to your Historical Figure Facebook Project. When you have completed that, you must start adding the basic information on Page 1 of the template. Do not add anything that you do not understand. Make sure to put at least 2-3 paragraphs of information at the bottom of the page about why your person is infamous/famous. Make sure you have identified at least 6 other NOTEWORTHY events that happened during the period of time when your person was alive to complete one of the sections. You will need pictures representative of those events as well. When you have completed this part of the project, you may work on Code.Org or another Code related program!

SELF-ASSESSMENTS

Student Self-Assessments refer to training students to evaluate themselves, and their work, for the purpose of improving outcomes. To become capable evaluators of their work, students must have:

- a clear target (goal)

- the opportunity to help create definitions of the quality of work.

- the opportunity to correct, or self-adjust, their work before turning it in.
