Inspiration 9: Partner VENN Diagrams

ACADEMIC/LEARNING OBJECTIVE

Today students will use a graphic organizer to create and display information.  Students will choose a partner to create a VENN Diagram using Inspiration 8/9.  Students will create documents and upload files appropriately for credit.

STUDENTS WILL ENTER THE CLASS QUIETLY AND BEGIN WORKING!

Students will review ALL of the directions below prior to starting the project!

Today
you will be creating VENN DIAGRAMS with a partner in class.  This is to
introduce you to Graphic Organizers and Inspiration 9.  We will be creating a City
Research Project next week.  Please let me know immediately if your computer does
not have the Inspiration9 software so I can load it for
you.



Complete the sheet below (In Class) on your own.  Then Create a Venn
Diagram with the Paper Copy in class.  Finally, create a digital version
using Inspiration 8/9 on your computer.  Follow the directions for
credit!

The whole point of this project
is to collaborate.  Open the VENN DIAGRAM template under the
English and Language Arts section of Sample Documents.  Fill
out the following survey (Copy and Paste into a document on your GDrive and SHARE for Credit):

Once



You Have Completed this survey, add all of your answers (keep them
short) to your side of the Venn Diagram.  Have your partner enter all
their answers on the other side and find answers you have in common to
populate the middle.  Finally, export the final paper (VENN DIAGRAM) as a
PDF to your desktop.  You must then open the PDF with Preview and SAVE
it as a JPEG (Picture File), upload it to your Google Drive, and SHARE the Document with Mr. S for credit.  Only one person on each team needs to SHARE the document.  MAKE SURE BOTH OF YOUR FULL NAMES ARE ON IT!  Work together and have

fun with this!
