Introduction

Digital Literacy Class: We are going to learn about so many incredible ways to be creative, collaborative, and to communicate. We will focus on computer skills and applications. Some topics you already know about, and you will know better, and other topics and applications will be new to you! Either way, we will work together to find the ones you are able to use best. This class consists of Project-Based-Learning. You will be given plenty of time to learn the skills and applications that you will use for a lifetime. HISTORICAL FIGURE FACEBOOK PROJECT - REBOOT DAY!

TODAY EVERYONE WILL CONTINUE THEIR WORK ON THE HISTORICAL FIGURE FACEBOOK PROJECT:

We will start with a brief Re-Introduction to the project and time for questions. Most of you are on the right track, and just need additional time to get the project finished. The projects are still technically considered late, but I want to make sure that everyone has a chance to present their best work. Thursday and Friday of this week we will be turning our final drafts of this project into a Tackk.com webpage about our Historical Figure. We will be working on this project for the next three days in class. I want everyone to have the best chance of creating an interesting and complete project. I expect an email from EVERY STUDENT BY TOMORROW at 4pm with an updated copy of the project for grading. This project is worth at least 1/3 - 1/2 of your 2nd Marking Period Grade. Make sure you take it seriously and you are paying attention to detail. If you have any questions, ask!

SELF-ASSESSMENTS

Student Self-Assessments refer to training students to evaluate themselves, and their work, for the purpose of improving outcomes. To become capable evaluators of their work, students must have:

- a clear target (goal)
