Introduction

Digital Literacy Class: We are going to learn about so many incredible ways to be creative, collaborative, and to communicate. We will focus on computer skills and applications. Some topics you already know about, and you will know better, and other topics and applications will be new to you! Either way, we will work together to find the ones you are able to use best. This class consists of Project-Based-Learning. You will be given plenty of time to learn the skills and applications that you will use for a lifetime. I hope you enjoy the material we will cover. - Mr. S

PA CEW Standards Lesson (Middle/High School)

Sample Curriculum (Mini Lessons) for Middle School Students

Lesson #1: Introduction to PA CEW Standards for Students (Click Here For Slides)

Educators across Pennsylvania are now required to help our students create and share evidence of work toward learning about the PA Career Education and Work Standards.  The resource listed above provides a basic introduction to these standards, and a starting point to help students create a Google Drive folder to keep their evidence archive.

This program was created at the request of my administrators, and I use various resources (listed below) to get started.  I am sure that this is far from an exhaustive list of materials and sources, but it is enough to get someone started, and will provide a basis for educators looking to meet the requirements.  I found, while reviewing the lessons I provide in my Computer Skills and Applications class (WEBSITE).  There were many of the projects listed that would count toward some of these standards.
