Introduction

Digital Literacy Class: We are going to learn about so many incredible ways to be creative, collaborative, and to communicate. We will focus on computer skills and applications. Some topics you already know about, and you will know better, and other topics and applications will be new to you! Either way, we will work together to find the ones you are able to use best. This class consists of Project-Based-Learning. You will be given plenty of time to learn the skills and applications that you will use for a lifetime. Please find the MTV "A THIN LINE" Quiz below, on the left side of the screen as you scroll down, and take it. Do additional research/work
on the website after completing the quiz.

Under the DRAW YOUR LINE section, POST YOUR ACTION! Using your zip code and the drop down list, Post Your Action Online (What action you will take to help yourself or someone else.)

Write a short blog
(Weebly.com Journal) entry about your results. Please discuss in your
journal how you did on the quiz, how you can be better digital citizens,
and what you can do to further protect yourselves from online threats.
(1-2 Paragraphs, Yes, I Said Paragraphs!)

Tomorrow is our Internet Safety & Security "FBI SOS" Program. If you have time left when you are finished with this program today, you may complete your questions in "lol...OMG" or work on the coursework in TYPINGWEB.

SELF-ASSESSMENTS

Student Self-Assessments refer to training students to evaluate themselves, and their work, for the purpose of improving outcomes. To become capable evaluators of their work, students must have:
